For milk drinks, use the steam wand after brewing. The espresso, steam and hot-water functions operate separately; follow the manual for the correct sequence.

A little care for every cup

Keep fresh water between the tank’s MIN and MAX marks. Follow the first-use rinsing steps before brewing.
Clean the steam wand after frothing and empty the drip tray when needed. Unplug and let the appliance cool before cleaning. Follow the manual for descaling.

Can I grind beans and make espresso?

Yes. The CM5510 has a built-in grinder and single and double espresso functions. Use roasted coffee beans, prepare the portafilter, then brew according to the supplied instructions.

How do I make milk-based drinks?

Brew your espresso, then use the steam wand to froth milk in a suitable jug. The espresso and steam functions cannot run at the same time. Follow the manual for preheating, safe handling and cleaning the wand.

What is the rated electrical supply?

How should I clean and descale the machine?
